LiTTLe EmO KiDs
Very few of them are really truly emo, most are just posers who listen to Good Charlotte and My Chemical Romance when other people are around. The true ones do that and write crappy poetry about how their life sucks, how people don't understand them, how they don't understand themselves and how to get rid of their incessant pain.
So here's the little emo kid that lives with me, and yes, its pretty obvious we're blood relatives, but only barely because I refuse to wear a hat that looks like a white knitted shopping bag.
And yes, it is difficult being an older sister to a pretty girl. Lots of jealousy about dress sizes ensue. Also the nicking of accessories, tops and each other's patience. But you gotta love em.
And by the way, her name's Celeste.
aNd if she happens to find out I posted her pic on my blog I' m dead.....or at least missing a vital organ.

ReplyDeleteEmo is a lifestyle derived from emo music, just like a rocker lifestyle is derived from rock music and so on.
Usually it involves lots of black clothing and makeup, and a generally depressed and angry outlook on life.
You may have heard of The Used or My Chemical Romance? They're both emo bands.
