Some News from the Vortex of Student Life!

Hey all!! Long time no post, I know, but its not fun walking around in a big town that is marginally hotter than hell. February is a bitch to experience.
Things here are quite crazy, because its Carnival ....there are trolley races and shows and just alot of things going on. As for settling in in my new flat, the room is nice but the people next door play loud music (and by loud I mean you can't hear yourself think) until 3:00 in the morning. I know this is accurate because I was still awake until then. I live with 5 girls, mostly first years (the young blood with inevitably bring my male friends scavenging...) named Belinda, Louise, Jinxie, Anneli and Nicci. And they're all quite nice and pretty and pleasant blah blah blah. But we don't see each other much cos of carnival and everyone's in and out.

I'll post some pics or videos that I can manage from tonight. The plan is Will, Johan , Thinus and his friends and me are going to roam the streets with 20 000 other people (yes, this the estimate) going from show to show. Probably with a few drops of Southern Comfort in the veins, but hey.

It occured to me yesterday that I have a very unbalanced friend-crowd. More males than females. I think the ratio is roughly 30-70. Its just that I get along better with guys....girls arent easy to make friends with as you might think. I really don't have any fun news at the moment. But as soon as I can get a cushy computer open in our pc centre I'll blog more extensively. lotsa hugs
